Income Tax Service Providers – Register for the CRA’s Dedicated Telephone Service This Tax Season
The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) offers a Dedicated Telephone Service (DTS) for small and medium-income tax service providers across Canada. Access free technical support by registering for this service.
This service connects you with experienced CRA officers from the Income Tax Rulings Directorate, who can assist you in interpreting provisions of the Income Tax Act. After reviewing your tax issue, the officers will carefully evaluate your query and provide helpful information and guidance. Responses are generally provided within three business days, depending on the complexity of the issue. Support is available in both English and French.
While the DTS is a valuable technical resource for resolving interpretive tax issues, it does not provide access to individual taxpayers’ accounts.
