The society of professional accountants of Canada celebrated the RPA Small Business Week and presented three distinguished women entrepreneurs prestigious awards in recognition of their business achievements. Gina Batista, President of Casa Dolce Casa inc.; Shelley Jarrett, Founder of SMJ Magazine and Sonia Semy, President of Signature Salon and Spa were honored with this award. The awards were presented by Honorable Prabmeet Sarkaria, Ontario Minister for Small Businesses and Red Tape Reduction and Zubair Choudhry, President of the Society.  Women entrepreneurs are playing an important role in Canadian economy by creating jobs, paying taxes and selling products and services.  Registered Professional Accountants (RPA) are well trained to serve these small to medium sized businesses.
