VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY AT RPA CANADA:

Would you like to become more involved with RPA Canada?  As you are aware, we are in the process of building and strengthening RPA Canada with a variety of new programs and initiatives to establish our role in the accounting profession in Canada.

Currently, we are seeking volunteers to be on the RPA Complaint Committee, which is a working group responsible for protecting the public interest by hearing and evaluating complaints or concerns brought forward by the public about the conduct of an RPA member who is also a Certified Accounting Practitioner.  RPA members follow the highest standards code of ethics established by the Society to protect the public interest.

Participating in this committee will require a minimum of 5 hours per year to attend meetings and resolve the complaints.  Member will qualify for 50% of the time spent in meetings for CPD credit hours. Maybe this is your opportunity to get more involved with RPA during this exciting time in our history.
