Streamlining Your Year-End Workflow

RPA Canada is hosting a live webinar in partnership with Xero, Blair Simkins an Education Specialist at Xero and will explain how to streamline your year-end process and take the pain out of tax season. Manage compilation engagements in one workflow, meet tax requirements, and prepare your clients’ tax returns efficiently.

Agenda:
· Data gathering & Ingestion:
Getting the data from your client and getting it into Xero like dealing with your shoebox of receipts and managing bank statements which are handled by Hubdoc.
·  Accounts Production:
This is your year-end bookkeeping where you reconcile all transactions and generate that working trial balance and other reports. This is done in Xero Blue.
·  Workpapers:
Make any adjustments through working papers -things like booking depreciation, accruing the year-end fee, etc. This is done in Xero Workpapers
· Income Tax:
Finally, we export this data into an Income Tax package like TaxCycle to prepare and file accordingly.
