Admission to the Society is by successful completion of the Mandatory Professional Examinations, following the course of studies and prerequisites required for the competence in accountancy listed in the educational program established by the Society.
The names of applicants who successfully complete the examinations are entered in the Society’s register of designated members and thus, are authorized by the Society to use the designatory letters “RPA”, an abbreviation which represents, Registered Professional Accountant, (Compatible Professionnel Enregistré).
Please note that application fees are non-refundable; therefore, you should ensure that you meet the prerequisite requirements. Unless exempt, Mandatory Professional Examinations fees are payable at a later date when attempting examinations. Please note that a valid government ID is required to write the examinations and for membership. To maintain your membership annual dues are required in addition to other requirements
Passing the RPA Mandatory Professional Examination (MPE)
