RPA Professional Code of Ethics Committee
The Society of Professional Accountants of Canada appointed a new RPA Professional Code of Ethics Committee at its Board of Directors meeting held on Thursday, November 18, 2021. The Committee consists of Robert (Bob) Finlay, RPA as Chair and Harry Somir, RPA, and Jim Green, RPA the members of the Committee.
“I am very pleased to announce the appointment of three very intelligent and hardworking accounting professionals who will look after the most important task in front of them to protect the public and safeguard the accounting profession by finalizing the Code of Ethics for Registered Professional Accountants who are focused in serving the small businesses in Ontario and in Canada, said Zubair Choudhry, RPA, APA President of the Society.”
“RPA Professional Code of Ethics 2021 will mirror the suitable, relevant and appropriate Standards from the International Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants 2021 Edition issued by the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA), Zubair added.
